1. Refund Policy Overview

BattleSync is committed to providing fair and transparent refund policies for all transactions on our platform. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are applicable and the process for requesting a refund.

2. Tournament Entry Fees

2.1 Non-Refundable Entry Fees

Tournament entry fees are generally non-refundable once confirmed, as these fees contribute to the prize pool and platform operational costs. However, the following exceptions apply:

2.2 Refundable Scenarios for Tournament Fees

  • Tournament Cancellation: If BattleSync cancels a tournament before it starts, full refunds will be issued within 7 business days
  • Technical Issues: If a player is disconnected due to platform technical issues and cannot rejoin, they may request a refund
  • Player Disqualification (Not Due to Violation): If a player is disqualified due to platform error or system failure, a refund will be issued
  • Schedule Changes: If tournament dates are changed and the player cannot participate, they may request a refund within 48 hours of announcement

2.3 Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Voluntary withdrawal after tournament has started
  • Disqualification due to cheating or violation of community guidelines
  • Poor internet connection or player-side technical issues
  • Change of mind or personal reasons
  • Account suspension or ban

3. Wallet Deposits

3.1 Refund Eligibility

Wallet deposits can be refunded under the following conditions:

  • Duplicate Deposits: If you accidentally deposited funds twice within a short time period
  • Failed Transaction: If money was deducted from your account but did not reflect in your wallet
  • Unauthorized Deposit: If unauthorized access to your account resulted in deposits
  • Payment Processor Error: If the payment gateway charged you incorrectly

3.2 Refund Timeline

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the deposit
  • After 30 days, refunds cannot be processed
  • Once approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used

3.3 No Refund for Used Wallet Balance

Wallet funds used for tournament entry or other purchases cannot be refunded. Only unused wallet balance is eligible for refunds in eligible scenarios.

4. Prize Withdrawals

4.1 Prize Withdrawal Refunds

Prize withdrawals are final and non-refundable once the funds have been transferred to your bank account or digital payment method. However, the following exceptions apply:

  • Failed Transaction: If the transfer failed but was deducted from your wallet, it will be credited back
  • Incorrect Amount: If the wrong amount was transferred, we will correct it within 7 business days
  • Wrong Recipient: If the transfer went to the wrong account, report it immediately and we will investigate

4.2 Tax Responsibility

Prize withdrawals are subject to applicable taxes as per Indian law. The tax amount cannot be refunded as it is remitted to the government.

5. Refund Process

5.1 How to Request a Refund

  1. Log into your BattleSync account
  2. Go to Wallet > Transaction History
  3. Select the transaction you want to refund
  4. Click "Request Refund" and provide details
  5. Submit supporting documentation if required

7. Fraudulent Refund Requests

BattleSync reserves the right to investigate refund requests that appear fraudulent or abusive. Players who submit false refund claims may face:

  • Denial of current and future refund requests
  • Wallet balance restriction or freeze
  • Account suspension or permanent ban
  • Legal action if applicable

8. Special Circumstances

8.1 Account Suspension

If your account is suspended due to violation of our Terms & Conditions or Community Guidelines, any wallet balance and pending refunds will be forfeited.

8.2 Legal Disputes

In case of legal disputes, refunds may be held pending resolution of the dispute. Once resolved, refunds will be processed accordingly.

8.3 Payment Gateway Issues

If your refund is delayed due to issues with the payment gateway or your bank, please contact your bank directly. We can provide transaction proof and receipt upon request.

9. Refund Status Tracking

Once a refund is approved, you can track its status through your BattleSync account under "Wallet > Refund Status" or by contacting our support team with your transaction ID.

10. Policy Updates

BattleSync reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and website updates. Your continued use of the platform after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
